How to switch back to Google Assistant from Gemini AI 2024

 Before Gemini AI Google's previous own Google assistant was very famous within users which allows the user to command to do anything like seetting reminder , turning on flashlight, and more . Since google rolled out Gemini AI model users started switching to it and now after some use and discomfort user now want to roll back to previous OG Google Assistant.So lets check it out how we can do it in simple steps in your ANDROID PHONE.

If you have noticed once you have installed Google Gemini Application for android , It tries to set itself as the new preferred Voice Assistant. This is bit common as gemini ai model is new in market and it cant trigger itself to you commands as the OG Google Assistant would do in seconds like controlling your smart home gadgets which is bit difficult in the current Google Gemini Model.

HOW TO SWITCH BACK TO GOOGLE ASSISTANT :

But to switch back you can use Gemini Application itself here is how you do it.

1. Open Gemini App on you android phone

2. Tap your profile photo and click on SETTINGS section of application.

3. Now tap Digital assistant from Google at the bottom.

4. Last step is to select Google Assistant.

 

  

Now once you select Google Assistant app and now when you say 'Hey Google' , or hold down the Power Button you will see your old OG Google Assistant is back and working as it was earlier.
